OUR MISSION: Emmanuel Lutheran Church exists to welcome people to faith in Jesus Christ, equip us to do God’s will, and send us into the world as responsible disciples of Jesus.
  • Through caring for one another by offering our prayers, time, talents and gifts
  • Through witnessing to power of Jesus Christ in our lives
  • Through seeking to learn about God through all stages of life
    We offer a worship service every Sunday at 10:15 a.m. with a Children's message.  Class for all ages begin at 9:00 a.m.

    • Emmanuel Lutheran also ministers through FAB (Fun Adventure and Bible) which is an outreach program for neighborhood and Emmanuel children, held on the 1st Saturday of the month, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the church parish hall. FAB Saturdays include breakfast, singing, board games, a bible lesson and craft, outdoor games, prayer, and a treat. We are committed to the planting of God's word and enriching the lives of children through FAB.

    Emmanuel Lutheran is located at 1900 Baker Street, Bakersfield, California 93305, just North of Old Town Kern.
